I worked with Andrea for my wedding! I was little out there in concept but she worked with me seamlessly! What I wanted was for five individual cakes all of different flavors and different icing styles to fill out my dessert bar! They went so above and beyond with this people are still talking about the cakes from my wedding and this was June of 2017! We met with her and went over the flavors and tasted everything, her prices were beyond reasonable and her and her staff went above and beyond! She even went so far as to test our cake that we were going to use for our cake cutting because it was something she hadn’t done before and when it didn’t turn out exactly like my vision, she worked with me to find an even better decision! If you want someone that cares about you and your day, use Blackbird Sweets for your wedding, birthday, or party!

So I just finished eating the most amazing, most decadent, perfectly flavored cinnamon roll from here.. Oh my goodness. The texture was perfect, soft and airy. The glaze was perfect, not too thick and not too sweet! And the fact that I was lucky enough to get them freshly baked, my goodness. I'm so thankful for the owner encouraging me to try one lol Best Saturday morning ever !!!

Super delicious bakery treats that taste out of this world, and the best part they also have really amazing homemade pasta and sauces. Try out everything. Its worth it. The owner was great and helpful with the choices of food I picked. Thank you for all the great treats.

Very cute store with lots of options. The woman who cashed us out was very nice and informative about what we were buying. Tried the Pride rainbow cookie and it was delicious!! Looking forward to trying the raviolis from the pasta peddler in the same building.

These cupcakes are incredible! The flavors are creative without being weird. I definitely recommend all of them (especially the ones involving caramel)! One of my friends is ordering wedding cupcakes from here (they were totally booked with wedding cake orders) and is super happy working with the owner. Obviously, Blackbird Sweets is doing something right! ;-)

I got 4 dozen cupcakes for my kids college graduation. First of all, Andrea the owner was so pleasant and accommodating. Secondly, they were so moist, delicious, and fresh! She was so nice to do the schools’ colors. Everyone at the party was asking where I got them because they were so good! Thank you! :)

I bought the pumpkin coffee cake and a dozen of the miniature cupcakes at Christmas in the Country and I could have sat down and eaten everything!!! Super moist and delicious! Will definitely look for the shop to try something else! Thanks for the treats.

My friend and I went to Blackbird Sweets yesterday (my first time😊) and I immediately fell in love with the vibe, the owner, and her incredibly tasty treats! Andrea was super down-to-Earth, wicked friendly, and just seems like an awesome human. Her almond raspberry crumb cake was to die for!! 🤤 So moist, crumbly, and light with huge almond flavor coming through— I’d eat one everyday if I could! Thank you for being an amazing baker and sharing your delicious creations 💜🧁🥧🍪

My wife and I first discovered Blackbird while trying out bakeries for our wedding desserts and have been hooked ever since. We got an assortment of mini cupcakes, brownies, brookies, and sugar cookie bars for our wedding and everything was a hit amongst our guests. We have been loyal patrons ever since and have yet to have a dessert from Blackbird that was not top tier.

I stopped in Blackbird Sweets while wandering down Hertel Ave. What a nice locally owned bakery. The owner, Andrea, was an absolute gem, and answered any/all questions I had. You can tell that each cupcake was made with love and care. Highly recommend this women-owned, LGBTQ friendly, local business Wonderful experience, and wonderful products!
